this weight loss salad recipe is easy to make at home and inexpensive and made with easily available ingredients, I used seasonal foods and the chickpeas will give the much needed protein and hence it is a filling & healthy salad for weight loss. Replace your dinner with this salad and lose weight fast especially if you have thyroid, pcos, diabetes, or hormonal issues, desi ghee is a must in this salad.
ingredients: (this recipe serves two)
FOR THE CHANNA MASALA:
1 tsp ghee
1 tsp ginger
4 garlic cloves
2 green chilies
1 onion
1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1/2 tsp roasted jeera powder/cumin powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes (optional)
1 chopped tomato
pink himalayan salt as needed

1/2 broccoli (blanched)
2 grated carrots
1/4 capsicum
1 cup cooked channa/chickpeas
1 cucumber, sliced
6 shallots
A cup of lettuce leaves
Amchur powder/dry mango powder
2 tsp homeset curd or vegan mayonnaise
