This is so sad…
Rapper Fredo Santana has died. He was just 27 years old.
According to family members speaking out in media reports, his cause of death was a seizure.
TMZ is reporting that Santana, who is a Chicago-based rapper and the cousin of Chief Keef, was found dead at his L.A. home on Friday night by his girlfriend when she came over just before midnight.
The rapper had been having health problems recently, and was hospitalized at one point for liver and kidney problems.
And in the past, Santana had openly talked about his addiction to lean — the club drink that has caused seizures so many times before.
So, so sad to see. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and loved ones.
Condolences are already coming out from across the music world on social media, too, including Drake (below):
