Amell has apparently had designs on taking a crack at the American Ninja Warrior course for some time. Celebrity competitors don't get a lot of prep for these appearances only "a little training," according to the announcers but that's not how it looks here. Amell flies through the course as if it's one of his everyday activities.
In completing the "flywheels" portion of the challenge on his first attempt, Amell joins a small-yet-illustrious group that also includes MLB star Nick Swisher and two-time gold medal Olympian Ashton Eaton.
